Enjoy a day in the Baraboo bluffs. Join Susan Holding, pastry chef, for a demonstration and hands-on class. Courses begin at 9:30am , are 6-7 hours in length and will include breakfast and lunch. Please call 608-522-4981 to confirm your place in the class. Class space is limited. Wear comfortable shoes, aprons will be available.

Start your class day with breakfast in the dining room. The morning sunshine streams in with a view of the bluffs.  The harvest table easily seats ten students.  

This room is also available for corporate retreats, bridal and baby showers, or just a gathering of friends to spend time cooking and dining.  Contact Susan to plan your event.

Small groups
Gather a few friends and contact Susan to choose a date and topic that will be fun for your group.  It can include demonstration, hands-on experience for students or a combination.  Prices begin at $50 per student for  shorter demo classes.   Full day classes are $110 per person per day.

In the summer, a group of friends decided that they wanted a class in Mexican cooking. A class was created for them to make chicken and four cheese enchiladas, mango salsa, and tortilla soup. They had a great time cooking and learning together and took home recipes they were able to use all summer.

Teens are always welcome in groups of 4-6.  Call to reserve time for special parties and celebrations.

Birthday Parties
Birthday parties for children can also be arranged. Children should be at least 8 years old. The party offers children of all ages the opportunity to decorate his/her own cake to take home, and a cake for the party decorated by The Little French Bakery. Contact us for more details.

French Breads/Baguettes
You'll learn helpful tips and techniques for using yeast, kneading, and baking bread in our home oven. Create crusty loaves of French bread for your next dinner party.

Mousse Cakes
Learn to create silky smooth mousse, and delicate ladyfinger sponge cake. These desserts are very beautiful and delicious.

Variations on Eclairs
A wonderful course for those interested in the building blocks of French pastry. Learn to make tender pate a choux pastry, créme pastisserie and some of the beautiful assembly techniques to create delicious pastries.

Classes may be canceled if minimum number of students is not met.
